  • Our wide range of services include contract drilling for other blasting and grouting contractors to help them meet or reduce their schedules; construction drilling and blasting of bulk and trench rock for commercial, residential and industrial projects; and quarry drilling and blasting.

Our blasters have licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio and New York, so we can service not only the immediate region, but a significant part of the Mid-Atlantic market, should our customers have projects in other areas.

We perform contract drilling for other subcontractors on a per vertical foot drilled basis, or on a time and materials basis, depending on the type and restrictions associated with each project. Due to the nature of this work, mobilizations to your project will be outside of these costs. Typical contract drilling projects will run from several days to several weeks, depending on the complexity.

One of the most important, and often overlooked aspects of effectively handling rock is efficiently test drilling sites before the design is finalized, to fully understand the underground obstacles before you encounter them. The most economical way to do this is through a comprehensive test drilling program, where each drill hole is surveyed and logged, and a rock profile of the site and trenches are generated based on this probe data. This detailed information helps owners and engineers modify designs, minimizing the rock impact, and allows them to appropriately budget for rock prior to the start of the project.

Our team has the knowledge and expertise to take on your most difficult drilling and blasting challenges in most regions of the market.

Commercial: We have worked on a wide range of commercial projects ranging from shopping centers to large warehouse projects, and everything in between. No matter what the rock obstacle is for your project, we can find an economical way to resolve it.

Residential: Our range of services here encompass drilling and blasting for individual basements, small subdivisions and large master planned communities. For residential projects, we typically do the drilling and blasting for bulk rock, trench rock, and the basements that fall within the rock zone ahead of the site construction, once the topsoil and major overburden are removed. When considering these projects, it is important to test drill ahead of time, so that all of the rock can be economically dealt with all at once, versus having to come back later after vertical construction has begun, when it becomes much more expensive.

Industrial: We have the ability to drill and blast for a wide range of projects in this market segment, including sewerage treatment plants, pipeline projects, gas well pads, and a host of other applications, dependent on your project needs. No project is too small or too large for our talented team to tackle quickly and efficiently.

Our team has been working for regional quarries providing drilling and blasting programs to meet their material needs. We work hard to provide the most consistent blasted product to send to the crusher, helping control the overall production costs while also focusing on being efficient and meeting the production demands. If you have a quarry opportunity that you would like us to take a look at, please give us a call, and we would be glad to help you.
